James has been interested in nature from a young age, with a particular fascination with waterways, having grown up on the Norfolk Broads and being a keen angler.
After many years of working in office-based roles, most recently in IT, James decided it was time to follow his passion and make a career change by joining Riverlution as a Countryside Ranger apprentice. He has previous experience of conservation from volunteering with the Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the Hawk and Owl Trust.
James is looking forward to helping to improve the waterways of Hull and surrounding areas for the benefit of local communities and wildlife.
