Morton began his journey in environmental conservation by completing a Level 2 course at Sheffield college, which paved the way for his apprenticeship at Riverlution. From a young age, he has been fascinated by water, and now he enjoys the opportunity to care for it while learning new skills through his apprenticeship—an experience he never thought possible.
Growing up near water, Morton’s favorite local river is The Moss. He and his friends spent countless hours exploring its banks, making the most of rope swings, and getting so muddy that his mum often wouldn’t let him in the garden!
If he could visit any river in the world, it would be the Amazon. As one of the longest rivers on the planet, Morton is excited by the idea of all the adventures waiting to be discovered along its vast length.
